ACFO invited to pre Budget discussions at HM Treasury

We have received our "usual" invitation to a meeting ahead of this year's Budget, to put forward our views of the market, and our hopes and expectations from the Chancellor's Speech.

The meeting with Exchequer Secretary Sarah McCarthy-Fry MP is scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday 3rd Feb. We have been invited as part of the "motor industry discussion day" and our session is shared with senior executives of BVRLA and FLA. This provides a fairly-balanced spread and while each group has its own priorities, we have much more in common than there are differences between us.

Regrettably, ACFO Chairman Julie Jenner is unable to attend and your Association will be represented by John Pryor (ACFO Director; and Fleet & Travel Manager of Arcadia Group) and Stewart Whyte (ACFO Director and Memebrship Secretary; and MD of Fleet Audits). We therefore have a wide spread of expertise and experience of this market and the range of expectaations from across our membership.
